Compliance & Insurance
All equipment is fully PAT tested to ensure compliance with your venue. PLI to the value of £10,000,000 is also in place. Both PAT and PLI certifications are carried with the band at all times and available to provide to venues prior to performance.
Transportation & Setup
We handle all transportation of equipment in our brand new 2025 Ford Transit Custom vehicles. Our dedicated team manages full setup and breakdown at your venue, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.

Everything you need to know about booking Abbey Road
What are your performance hours?
We perform from 8pm-12am with a break in the middle. During the break, we can play background music curated by us, tailor our own selection to your preferences, or we can provide a DJ hour to keep the energy going.
How long does setup and breakdown take?
Setup typically takes around 1 hour, and we're ready to perform in approximately 10 minutes. Breakdown is equally efficient, ensuring minimal disruption to your venue.
Will you learn our first dance?
Absolutely! We always try to learn your first dance track. We require at least 6 weeks to learn and master it. If we can't nail a version we're 100% confident you'll love, we'll source and play a high-resolution version to ensure it sounds absolutely amazing.
What if we're panicking closer to the date?
Don't worry! Call us anytime - and we mean anytime. You'll get our direct number when you book, and yes, 3am calls are absolutely fine (though we don't necessarily recommend it!). We're here to help ease your mind at every stage.
Are you insured and compliant?
We're fully PLI insured (£10,000,000 coverage) and all our equipment is PAT tested. Both certifications travel with us and are available to provide to your venue in advance.
What about your transportation?
We use brand new 2025 Ford Transit Custom vehicles that are serviced every 6 months. You can be confident that we'll arrive on time, every time.
What if someone in the band gets unwell?
We have a carefully curated team of excellent musicians who have rehearsed and learned our complete setlist. While this is extremely unlikely, we're always prepared with backup musicians ready to deploy.
What if we don't like some of your song choices?
Just let us know! Choose 5 songs you love and 5 songs you'd prefer we don't play. This gives us a clear vibe to work with, and we'll tailor our setlist to match your preferences perfectly. And here's the thing - we completely reimagine every song with our own uptempo, high-energy electric arrangement. You might hate the original, but you'll absolutely love our version!
Can a guest come up and sing or play with you?
We absolutely love when guests want to get involved! If you have someone special who'd like to perform with us, let us know well in advance and we'll arrange it. If the bride or groom wants to surprise their partner with a song, that's brilliant - just give us a heads-up so we can prepare. However, we can't allow guests to use our instruments due to insurance and equipment protection. Our gear is worth over £75,000, and we need to ensure it stays in perfect condition. If you'd like to bring your own instrument and perform, we're happy to work with that!
Where do you perform? Can you travel outside Scotland or the UK?
We genuinely perform all over Europe! We handle all planning and logistics in-house, so whether your event is in Scotland, the UK, or further afield, we'll get there. Reach out to discuss your venue and we'll work out the details.
Can you perform outdoors?
Absolutely! We love outdoor events. We just need sufficient covering and staging for all the equipment to keep it protected, and your venue must provide adequate power supply. With those essentials covered, we'll deliver a brilliant performance regardless of the setting.
How does the Live Request feature work?
At your event, you can request songs in real-time using our Live Request system. Simply enter your event code and name, then browse our curated collection of proven bangers and click to request. Your request pings straight to us on stage, and we'll play it. You can also request a custom song if you don't see what you want, or request Happy Birthday if it's someone's special day (within 3 days of their birthday).
How do I book Abbey Road?
We're managed by Elite Bands, who handle all our bookings. You can fill out the enquiry form on this site and we'll pass all your details to them, or you can visit the Elite Bands website directly to check availability and book.
